Some may argue that tying knots is not a craft. Ok, try it then :-)

Glossary

• Bight - the bight refers to the middle of the rope. A knot that is "tied in the bight" does not need an end of the rope to be tied.
• Standing part - the end of the rope you are not working with
• Turn - a loop, as formed when "turning" the rope once around something
• Working end - the end of the rope you are working with
