gothic cradle

This cradle from the 14th century is featured in the book "Constructing Medieval Furniture" by Daniel Diehl.
The material used is glued pine boards and the finish is a food grade lin seed oil based stain.
The construction is mortise and tennon throughout.

Some advice for others. Do use better wood or dimension your tenons larger, so that they can take the strain better. I had two break off, because the grain ran across the tenon and they weren't thick enough.
